Analysts at Nomura offered their model's projection for today's USD/CNY fix.

"Our model1 projects the fix to be 50 pips higher than the previous fix (6.3720 from 6.3670) and 118 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close of 6.3602. The basket implied change is 150 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close (6.3752 from 6.3602)."
